Amadeus, platinum sponsor at SKAL Ball 2008
Sydney, 4 August 2008: AMADEUS, the largest provider of technology to the Australian and New Zealand travel and tourism industry, actively participated at the 2008 annual SKAL Ball, last Saturday in Sydney.
Amadeus has been a global member and active participant of SKAL International, the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry, for many years, and has been present at the SKAL Ball every year, raising important funds for charity.
“As an international IT company, the participation with an international organisation like SKAL is key for Amadeus.”, says Iain Summers, General Manager Operations of Amadeus and Secretary of the Sydney City SKAL Club. “It is a great opportunity to give something back to the Community as well as discussing and defining the future with some of the key players of the industry”.
Amadeus was present with 10 key members of its organisation and was the only platinum sponsor of the event, also sponsoring the pre-dinner ‘Sex-On-The-Beach’ cocktail in the Sydney Four Seasons hotel.
