Amadeus implements its 85th e-ticket carrier in Australia

Sydney, 19 December 2007: Six more airlines are now available to e-ticket in Amadeus in the Australian market, the leading travel IT supplier announced today.

The airlines, Malaysian Airlines, China Southern Airlines Vietnam Airways, China Air, Olympic Airlines and Air Tahiti, are all key to the Australian market. The addition of these carriers brings the total number of e-ticketable airlines in Amadeus to 85.

Amadeus offers e-ticketing with more airlines than any other technology provider in the market. Amadeus also has more than 241 interline e-ticketing agreements worldwide.

Amadeus’ leadership in this area is demonstrated by its selection as the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) partner in achieving paperless travel by May 2008.
