Hans Jorgensen

VP, Strategic Airlines & Industry Relations

Hans was appointed to his current position in March 2009.  He is responsible for directing Amadeus relations with strategic airlines as well as developing and directing Amadeus relations with the industry at large. 

Hans previously held the position of Vice President Strategic Airline & Partner Programmes and was responsible for large business opportunities in the area of Airline IT (Altéa) for key airlines and alliances.  Hans also managed the development of strategic partnerships with key technology players that enhanced the Amadeus solutions.

Hans led Amadeus' drive to offer the most comprehensive range of distribution, IT and e-commerce solutions to airlines on a worldwide basis.  He also played a fundamental role in developing Amadeus’ commercial airline strategy, which has been instrumental to the company’s growth worldwide.

Hans joined the company as a core team player when Amadeus was set up in 1987, and held various positions, first as Director, Sales and Vendor Services, then Vice President Partners and Provider Strategy, and then Vice President Airline Business Group.

Beginning his career with SAS Scandinavian airlines, Hans held numerous positions within SAS's head office, ending up as Head of Distribution.  Hans graduated from the Copenhagen School of Commerce with a degree in Business Administration.
