Altéa Departure Control - Flight

Altéa Departure Control - Flight Achieve excellence for every flight departure

Altéa Departure Control - Flight overview

Altéa Departure Control - Flight is a new generation load control (weight and balance) system, successfully launched in 2007 with Qantas and early 2008 with Finnair. Following this successful launch it is to be rapidly rolled out to further airline customers, including South African Airways, Ethiad, Qatar and Conviasa.

Altéa Departure Control - Flight can also be used by ground handlers and airport authorities to manage the load control on behalf of the airlines. In addition, this Amadeus solution can be used by a ground handler to offer a centralised outsourced dispatching service to an airline.

With a detailed event-based activity plan at the heart of the system, and a fully graphical interface, Altéa Departure Control - Flight improves the productivity of your load controllers and enables you to centralise operations in one place across time zones.

Seamless integration with Altéa Departure Control - Customer and the rest of the Amadeus Altéa suite helps decrease turn-times and reduce delays caused by late additions to load, aircraft or late passengers.

Altéa Departure Control - Flight analyses the load more precisely and automatically defines the optimal load distribution so that the fuel required for each flight departure is always at the optimum level.

Customer feedback

The Altéa System has totally rewritten the rules on productivity for Load Control, Amadeus have changed automated load control from a one where the operator lead the system to one where the system leads the operator. With a legacy system load controllers could handle 20 flights per shift in an environment that would resemble a commodity trading room with Altéa they can handle 40 flights in an environment that resembles a power station control room. As we become more experienced our productivity continues to grow.
