Altéa Check-in Desktop is an intuitive workflow-driven user interface which ensures fast and consistent check-in and boarding services for all the airlines customers.

Altéa Check-in Desktop has been designed from the ground up in conjunction with our Altéa Departure Control - Customer solution to take full advantage of the automated and customer-centric features that it provides.

It is the optimal option for enforcing best practices at the airport and for maximising the productivity of your check-in agents.

  • The Altéa Check-in Desktop enables ground handlers to access multiple airlines from the same Graphical User Interface (GUI), thus helping to reduce training needs

Graphical user interface

The graphical user interface has been designed in partnership with successful global network airlines and human - computer interface design specialists. All workflows are guided and intuitive in order to simplify and speed up the check-in process.

The GUI can be used equally with or without a mouse depending on your terminal set-up. A basic check in can be achieved in as little as a document swipe plus three key strokes

Altéa Check-in Desktop can be used by any airline, airport or ground handler using Altéa Departure Control - Customer.

Implementation

Altéa Check-in Desktop is easy to implement and requires minimal training because it is an intuitive graphical interface.

It is normally implemented in conjunction with Altéa Departure Control - Customer. Amadeus will work with you to define the best strategy for roll-out of Altéa Departure Control - Customer to your airport stations while ensuring perfect service continuity.

The speed of implementation depends primarily on the number of airport stations. In our experience the main constraint on the speed of implementation is the time required to train the end users. This task is greatly facilitated by the reduced training required for Altéa Check-in Desktop compared to a legacy DCS.
