Amadeus Name Change Controller gives you complete control over a travel agent’s ability to perform name changes on your flights. By defining rules directly in our system using a range of table-driven parameters, you can minimise speculative bookings (which are often sold in advance at a lower price and then cancelled too late to be resold).

How does it work?

• simple pre-formatted update panels help you define rules directly in our system that govern PNR name changes
• rules are based on a range of parameters, such as:
  - Point-of-Sale (i.e. travel agents)
  - effective date or date range
  - number of days before departure
  - class of service
  - flight number or number range
  - flight operational schedule
  - flight segments
• you can over-ride the rules with name change-related teletype messages from your inventory
