Amadeus secures Copa Airlines content for travel agent
Travel agents can now access Copa’s web fares through Amadeus
Madrid and Panama City, 23 May 2006: Amadeus, global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, announces that travel agencies connected to Amadeus now have access to all of Copa Airlines’ fares, including their web fares.
This agreement extends Copa’s current content available through Amadeus, guaranteeing travel agencies are able to book the same fares that are accessible through the airline’s own sales channels, and further reinforcing Amadeus’ commitment to ensure agencies have the most relevant travel content available at their finger tips.
“With this agreement, our customers will have access to all of Copa’s fares in travel agencies connected to Amadeus,” Jorge García Icaza, Vice President, Commercial for Copa Airlines, states. “By doing so, we continue to strengthen our regional expansion strategy,” he continues.
