Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management

Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management Achieve excellence for every flight departure

Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management overview

In the last few years, Altéa Departure Control (DC) - Flight Management, our aircraft weight and balance solution, has been chosen by nearly 80 airlines. Qantas, in 2007, and Finnair in early 2008 were the first airlines to implement the solution. In 2009, South African Airways, El Al and Icelandair did their cutover to Altéa DC FM. TAM, SATA Group and Royal Air Maroc, among others, implemented the solution in 2010.

With a detailed event-based activity plan at the heart of the system, and fully graphical interface, Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management improves the productivity of your aircraft load controllers and enables you to centralise operations in one place across time zones.

Seamless integration with Altéa Departure Control – Customer Management and Altéa Inventory for example, helps reduce delays caused by late changes of schedules and passenger loads.

Altéa Departure Control – Flight Management analyses the passenger and cargo load more precisely and automatically defines the optimal aircraft load distribution so that the fuel required for each flight departure is always at the optimum level.

Implementation

We shall work with you to define the best strategy for rolling out Altéa Departure Control - Flight Management to your airport stations while ensuring perfect service continuity.

The speed of implementation depends on the number of load control centres. However, it typically takes between 1 and 3 months depending on the size of fleet and number of users.

The implementation is further facilitated in the case of airlines already using Altéa Inventory and/or Altéa Departure Control – Customer Management.

In February 2011, more than 30 airlines have already implemented our Altéa DC FM solution.
